Every time I visit this gem of a hardware store I wind up having a nice chat with one of the guys working there, all the employees are incredibly friendly and very knowledgeable. Every last one of these guys knows their shit, is willing to help, and is generous with their time. If Hank Hill were to visit this hardware store he'd start weeping tears of joy.

I cannot believe the exceptional customer service here. I went in yesterday in distress due to the weather and flooding and needed a gas can as my husband ran out of gas. The rep on the floor helped right away even when I didn’t even ask for the item properly (sorry I don’t know what those cans are called). And the other rep at checkout showed me how to use it. The thing is I didn’t even ask. He was one step ahead to double check that I knew how to use it. This is true customer service - anticipating the needs of the customer. Thank you!!!!

I had not been to this hardware store a number of years because I’m a little farther out of the neighborhood, but that’s my mistake! I was looking for a specific size screw and made the mistake of starting at Canadian tire when I should’ve just gone to this hardware store. They are terrific.

You can recycle your batteries here!!! People here at Home Hardware are like your ultimate handyman family! They are super nice and helpful, even got someone as newbie on electrical stuff as me to successfully install my new ceiling light at home!!! You can also get your keys copied, gardening stuff refilled, and so much more!! LOVE THIS PLACE!

Convenient, reasonable price and friendly staffs . Although not comparable to famous "Home depot", there are still a lot of widgets that you need, and more importantly; You don't have to go far.

Amazing staff. The last time I was there they helped me find some lighting items in no time. I've been there many times in the past and they've always been knowledgeable, friendly, and super helpful. I felt compelled to write a review after so many good experiences there.

A great neighborhood resource for all home hardware. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful, and know the local issues and remedies. I use it often and bless having somewhere local when, in the middle of a job, I run out of supplies or need another tool.

The staff has created a really effective way of serving customers during the pandemic. They manage the traffic in store really well and ensure they can help each individual customer personally. I've gone twice now to get a heater and some fuses and I barely did anything other than ask for what I needed. They brought me what I was looking for, answered my questions and I was already in line. Despite it being fairly busy (considering it's right on Bloor) the wait and service is so good you don't feel the rush. Everyone is super nice and it's so easy to get in and out with what you need. That makes it my go-to Hardware store
